Abstract

This story is an investigation into delays in responding to reports of abuse and neglect among Colorado child welfare agencies. NYCity News Service found delays documented time and again in Colorado Department of Human Services data and documents. Failure to respond to reports of abuse and neglect in a timely manner can leave children in harmful situations.
