Abstract

This paper explores the impact of Title IX on 4-year, public, NCAA athletic programs from 2003 to 2018. This study employs a panel data probit model to analyze how enrollment, athletic participation, revenues, expenses, and the presence of football effect institutions probability of compliance with specific requirements of Title IX.
