Abstract

Pollution can come from far and wide, and so can its causes. Shoppers in the United States and other western countries help fuel production at polluting factories by shopping at big box labels and clothing companies like the Gap. In a new and booming textile production market like Indonesia, corners are being cut and local people are paying the price for cut price clothing.
