Abstract

This research brief reviews housing characteristics among the Puerto Rican population in the United States. Puerto Ricans are compared to Hispanics overall, non-Hispanic whites, non-Hispanic blacks, and the nation’s total population. Data from the 2007 and 2014 American Community Survey (1-year estimates) are used to analyze and compare regional and national housing characteristics.1 Housing characteristics, such as housing tenure, costs, and conditions, are discussed.
