Abstract

Due to lack of awareness, Adolescents with Attention Deficity-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), will struggle with social difficulties and experience educational problems throughout their academic progress. In our research we look at statistics and Statutes as a foundation for proof that, when services are available and there is understanding from others, Teens with ADHD will succeed better. Although we have laws that protect adolescents with this disability, it can often be undiagnosed and misinterpreted for teenage hormones. By familiarizing ourselves in disguising adolescents with ADHD, and the proper procedures of the law, it will help us better understand and provide the necessary help such teenagers need.
