Abstract

Three one-hour lessons. In these lessons students will learn to identify health misinformation which spreads rapidly through social media, search engines, and online platforms. By generating false health news stories with AI and critically analyzing them, students will develop essential skills for public health literacy and ethical responsibility. These activities equip future health professionals with the tools to discern evidence-based information from deceptive content and provide guidance to ensure accurate and authentic communication in the field.
