Abstract
The Business Start-Up / New Business Idea Presentation serves as the culminating assignment for BUS 104 by asking students to apply core business concepts to the development of an original business idea. Working in pairs, students design and present a professional start-up proposal that integrates major course topics such as entrepreneurship, ownership, management, organizational structure, human resources, marketing, ethics, and financial management. The assignment emphasizes critical thinking, collaboration, research, and oral communication while helping students connect classroom learning to real-world business planning. Through this project, students demonstrate their ability to analyze business opportunities, make strategic decisions, and present a clear and sustainable business concept in a professional format.
