Abstract

In 2014, an estimated 89,462 Puerto Ricans lived in Georgia and accounted for 1.7 percent of all Puerto Ricans living in the United States. Georgia had the 13th largest Puerto Rican population in the United States. The number of Puerto Ricans in Georgia more than doubled from 35,532 in the year 2000 to 89,462 in 2014.
