The Advocate is the newspaper of the Graduate Center, CUNY. Published six times per academic year, it serves CUNY graduate students as a general forum and as a source of news and information pertaining to their rights as well as their educational, cultural, political, and professional interests. The Advocate aims to publish thought-provoking articles that are of interest not only to those in the academy, but to the public more generally.
