Abstract
During the 2024-2025 academic year, I completed my capstone requirement in partial fulfillment for the completion of the Women’s and Gender Studies program at The Graduate Center of the City University of New York. To fulfill the capstone project requirements, I served as the Communications Intern at WSQ (Women’s Studies Quarterly. The Communications Intern opportunity allowed me to develop my communications skills including social media communication, newsletter production, and event promotion. This paper documents my contributions to WSQ from September 2024 through April 2025. I begin with an overview of the history of WSQ, followed by an explication of the duties I performed during my role as Communications Intern.
