Abstract
In this article, we reviewed the scene of youth football in response to recent concussion data and the discovery of CTE. Many people focus on the NFL and collegiate angle, but we wanted to focus on youth football, since they are the future. We used data from science journals and surveys to show the number on concussions in football vs other sports and the frequency of concussions vs other injuries.
We interviews coaches and a young football prospect and his mother about the scene of youth football. We're interested in what parents think, how coaches now teach the game and new techniques. We also interviewed a medical source to give insight on concussion protocols in the PSAL, concussion symptoms and tests.
