Abstract
The feature documentary ‘Arresting Survival’ examines the lives of previously incarcerated domestic violence survivors while exposing how the criminal justice system disproportionately affects women of color and women in low-income communities. While women are the fastest growing population within the prison system, the film aims to display the impact of the injustices of these women.
