Abstract

Since the early 1900's, the Angel Guardian Home in Dyker Heights, New York, has been known as a safe haven for orphans in the community. Now that the orphanage is being sold, former children who lived there are finally telling their stories about what it was like to be in the care of the Sisters of Mercy.
