Abstract
John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives partnered together on the “Future of Public Safety” series, which resulted in this report. In the series, we brought together John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives partnered together on the “Future of Public Safety” series, which resulted in this report. In the series, we brought together 38 individuals representing a diverse range of voices for “dialogue across differences.” Through everyone’s points of healthy disagreement, we identified nine core points of consensus that guided our work and are the framework for the roadmap we provide communities.
