Abstract
By the end of this course, students will have:
- Engaged in analytic reading, writing and critical thinking about novels written by black women
- Participated in and created a learning community via asynchronous and synchronous online discussions
- Learned the ways that culture, history and environment shape literature and interpretation
- Utilized learned tools of analysis through practice
