Abstract

Americans have had to adjust to new lifestyles as a result of the lingering symptoms associated with long COVID. Many have had no choice but to leave the workforce. Those with long COVID are putting the career paths they intended for themselves behind them, due to their inability to keep up with their jobs as a result of their lingering symptoms. Accommodations and resources on how those with long COVID can reenter back into the workforce are coming at a slow pace, as employers are not recognizing how to help those with long COVID stay and thrive in the workplace.
