Abstract
Dana Schein’s figurative paintings explore the tension between hiding and communicating. Pulling from her history as a musician, she conveys psychological states through narrative, often arriving at moments of intense drama in each painting. These storylines pose questions about inner realities, fantasy, loneliness, and divine communion.
