Abstract

Farangiz Yusupova investigates how abstraction can serve as a vehicle for exploring personal narratives. In revisiting her early life in Uzbekistan, she reflects on the importance of preserving tradition within her family. This paper analyzes the role of architecture, color, craft objects, and memories in her present painting practice.
