Abstract
Claire Weaver-Zeman’s work constructs an alternate mythology and decorative language based on classical mythology, biblical characters, and paganism. Paintings, dolls, frames, and other sculptural objects populate this imagined realm. This paper outlines how this reality and its inhabitants question the traditional limited roles assigned to women and children.
