Abstract
“we all still feel the missing being” is an installation re-staging familial histories of spectral interaction and migration. Constructed from media collected on the volcano-island, Stromboli, the works render traces of geological pasts through familial materials and technologies, convening a haunting between absence and presence, dialect and translation.
