Abstract
Maya Baran’s work reflects on how light, nostalgia, and photography allow her to look at the past and ask questions about the human experience, intimacy, temporality, societal and personal journeys. looking back through time at things that become present when photographed, Baran looks at the scientific, metaphysical, and human.
