Abstract
A. Levin's paintings, sculptures, and reliefs—made with clay, paper, and water-based pigment—are reflections of embodiment. They echo a range of ancient, ecological, monstrous, and actual habitats such as her body, the floors of oceans and forests. This paper unpacks her rhizomatic approach to the sensory and the tactile.
