Abstract
Empathetic Objects: Reflections on Beauty and Brokenness is a linked essay collection by Madeleine Parsons which examines how the built environment shapes and reflects our interior lives. Included essays move between memoir, cultural criticism and design theory to explore how our relationship to objects goes beyond aesthetics.
